The M.M.Education Method

Learn Faster & Practice Smarter

About …

If you want to learn faster and practice smarter, you’ve come to the right place. Because, my teaching concepts are not only about teaching you the right stuff. The main focus is on making you a better and more efficient learner.

What you get

The goal is to show you how to teach yourself. Fundamental knowledge of the instrument and music theory are the main content of the lessons. But I’ll go one step further and shows you how to hack your brain and accelerate your learning capabilities. Mental and physical health are both addressed in the lessons, because they go hand in hand when you want to improve your playing.

Traveling the world and taking lessons from the biggest names in the history of electric bass (Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller, John Patitucci, Gary Willis, Steve Bailey, Stuart Hamm, Matthew Garrison, Ryan Martinie, Dick Lövgren, and many more. To see a full list click here) I acquired a great variety of concepts and strategies. All ready to be compiled into your individual learning experience. If you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. There always is something new to learn.

Method

My concepts are backed by a solid education that includes the instrument as well as the methodology. I studied electric bass at the ArtEZ Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Arnhem (NL) and graduated with Bachelor of Music and Arts (Jazz & Pop) in 2010. To further enhance my methods I attended workshops and masterclasses around the world.

In 2015 I started a lectureship for electric bass and methodology at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover. Additionally I am the head of the bass department of the Modern Music School (managing and coaching bass teachers in the USA, Canada, Germany, Greece, Iran, Lebanon and the United Emirates).
